Westport Country Playhouse.
The Westport Country Playhouse was founded in 1931 by Lawrence Langner, a New York theater producer. Many notable performers have graced the stage including Paul Newman and Liza Minnelli. Today, the Playhouse produces five shows per season and provides theater experiences such as staged readings to free community events for kids and families.
